The 4NE-1 stands approximately 170–180 cm tall and weighs 60–80 kg. It features exchangeable forearms for task-specific use and a head with an interactive screen for communication. The robot’s sensors include force-torque sensors with high sensitivity (0.1 N), touchless human detection sensors, and 3D vision systems for environment and gesture recognition. It can walk forward and backward, turn, bend, and navigate stairs while balancing objects. The robot recognizes human voices, languages, and emotional tones, enabling rich interaction. Its design prioritizes safety, adaptability, and intuitive communication.
