The most notable design feature is its IP67 Full Sealing, meaning the entire machine is protected against dust ingress and the effects of temporary water immersion, ensuring operation in harsh outdoor and industrial conditions.

The objective is to enable true 24/7 Non-Stop Operation through hardware and software optimization. This is achieved via instant battery hot-swap with zero downtime capability and automated Auto-return recharge at low power. Furthermore, the Y1 is positioned as an Open Platform—supporting Plug-and-Play secondary development and module switching (such as dual-spectrum cameras or gas sensors), positioning it not just as a robot, but as an adaptable sensory and utility hub.
