Robot Brief

Monte02 is an advanced embodied intelligent humanoid robot developed by Corenetic. The product was globally unveiled at the World Robot Conference as a versatile autonomous robotic system engineered to perform complex real-world tasks. Combining AI decision-making with agile physical interaction, its design integrates a humanoid upper body (arms/hands) capable of fine manipulation and perception systems to operate safely and efficiently in dynamic environments. Its main objective is to bridge the physical and digital worlds, enabling robots to handle complex operations across industries such as healthcare, logistics, service, and research.

Use Cases

  • Human-like Interaction:
Performs tasks requiring dexterous manipulation similar to human arms and hands.
  • Autonomous Task Execution:
Executes high-level instructions using AI perception and planning.
  • Environmental Navigation & Perception:
Understands and reacts to the physical environment using onboard sensors.
  • Adaptation to Dynamic Scenarios:
Uses learning-based control to adapt to real-world variability.

Industries

  • Healthcare:
Assisting tasks in clinical and laboratory settings where precision and repeatability are critical.
  • Logistics & Warehousing:
Supporting complex manipulation and sorting tasks in dynamic environments.
  • Service & Hospitality:
Interaction and assistance roles with humans for service tasks.
  • Manufacturing:
Handling, inspection, and collaborative operations with human workers

Intro

Monte02 is Corenetic’s next-generation embodied humanoid robot engineered for high-precision, real-world industrial and service tasks. Built with a high-strength magnesium-aluminum alloy frame and ABS engineering polymer exterior, the robot stands 1623 mm tall with a robust 100 kg form factor designed for durability, stability, and long operational duty cycles. Its body architecture supports 70-DoF SRS bionic structure, including dexterous multi-finger hands, adaptive two-finger grippers, and modular end-effectors that enable fine manipulation and task flexibility.

Each arm features 702 mm reach and a 6.5 kg payload (per arm, at end-effector), allowing Monte02 to handle general-purpose industrial objects, delicate components, and service-oriented interactions. The robot’s locomotive system uses differential dual-wheel drive, enabling smooth indoor navigation at speeds up to 1.0 m/s with slope capability under 10°. Monte02 autonomously builds maps, performs real-time localization, obstacle avoidance, and supports automatic return-to-charge behavior.

Connectivity

  • 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi6
  • Gigabit Ethernet port available
  • Type-C port available

Capabilities

  • Foundation Model Inference:
Utilizes proprietary large models for sophisticated, adaptive task planning and execution.
  • High-Precision Impedance Control:
Achieved through the use of high-precision torque sensors distributed along the arm, allowing the robot to adjust motion based on real-time external forces for delicate manipulation.
  • Real-Time Decision:
Making: High-speed compute resources process data streams quickly, enabling rapid control decisions necessary to improve throughput and process efficiencies.
