Intro
The Unitree H2 is a full-size industrial humanoid platform designed to bridge the gap between research prototypes and real-world humanoid robotics applications. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, titanium alloy, and high-strength engineering plastics, H2 balances structural durability with reduced weight for agile motion. Its 31 DoF, including 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, and 2 in the head—enable coordinated locomotion and manipulation. The arms and legs deliver significant joint torque (120 N·m in arms and 360 N·m in legs), supporting nuanced biomechanical motion and posture control.
H2’s motion capabilities extend beyond basic walking; promotional demonstrations show the robot performing fluid movements, expressive gestures, and dynamic control behaviors that showcase low-inertia motor design and advanced motion planning algorithms. The platform integrates a humanoid binocular camera with wide field of view, voice interaction hardwares, and wireless connectivity, enabling multimodal perception and interaction. Optional high-performance compute, such as a Jetson AGX Thor module , supports advanced AI inference, motion learning, and perception models, while over-the-air updates allow software and motion algorithm enhancements over time.
