Robot Brief

Apollo is an industrial-grade quadruped robot developed by MirrorMe Technology to operate in harsh, complex, and hazardous environments such as power infrastructure, factories, and emergency scenarios. Unlike high-speed experimental platforms like Black Panther II, Apollo is designed as a practical workhorse, focusing on payload capacity, durability, and autonomous inspection capabilities. The robot integrates multi-sensor fusion, autonomous navigation, and modular hardware architecture to perform real-world industrial tasks reliably. Physically, Apollo features a robust quadruped structure with high-torque joints, enabling it to traverse difficult terrain while carrying heavy loads and maintaining operational stability in extreme conditions.

Use Cases

  • Autonomous Inspection:
Uses LiDAR and sensor fusion to patrol industrial sites and detect anomalies in real time.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring:
Inspects power lines, factories, and hazardous facilities to identify risks early.
  • Heavy Payload Transport:
Carries tools, sensors, or equipment across industrial environments.
  • Hazardous Environment Operations:
Operates in extreme temperatures and dangerous conditions unsuitable for humans.
  • Data Collection & Transmission:
Streams real-time inspection data for remote monitoring and analysis.

Industries

  • Energy & Utilities:
Inspects power lines, substations, and critical infrastructure.
  • Manufacturing:
Monitors factory operations and supports industrial automation workflows.
  • Oil & Gas / Heavy Industry:
Operates in hazardous environments with high safety risks.
  • Security & Surveillance:
Performs patrol and monitoring tasks in restricted or dangerous zones.
  • Emergency Response:
Assists in disaster zones or high-risk inspection scenarios.

Intro

Apollo is a heavy-duty industrial quadruped robot engineered for real-world deployment in demanding environments. With a weight of approximately 60 kg and dimensions of 1090 × 500 × 700 mm, the robot is built with a rugged frame and modular architecture that separates battery, control, and motor systems for easy maintenance and scalability.

The robot is powered by ultra-high torque joint motors exceeding 360 Nm, enabling it to carry significant payloads and maintain stability across uneven terrain. Apollo supports a maximum standing load of over 140 kg and a continuous walking load above 50 kg, making it one of the most powerful quadrupeds in its class.

Apollo also integrates advanced AI-driven locomotion and navigation systems, including reinforcement learning-based motion control and multi-sensor fusion for precise path planning. It supports autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and real-time data transmission, making it suitable for continuous industrial operations. The robot is rated IP67, allowing it to operate in dust, water, and extreme environments ranging from -20°C to 55°C.
