Intro
The CASBOT W1 adopts a modular embodied-intelligence architecture made with Alloy and engineering plastic, integrating a wheeled base with a large-stroke vertical lifting column and humanoid upper body. This design enables the robot to reach a working height from 0 to 2.1 m, allowing interaction with shelves, workbenches, and industrial fixtures without bipedal complexity.
The robot features 20 total degrees of freedom and gripping force of 15N, including a 2-DoF head (yaw, pitch), a 1-DoF waist pitch, a 2-DoF mobile base, a 1-DoF lifting column, and two 7-DoF arms with interchangeable end-effectors. Its perception stack combines RGB-D cameras, 360-degree LiDAR, IMU, microphones, and speakers, enabling navigation, object recognition, and human-robot interaction.
Compute is handled by an industrial control PC with Intel i9 CPU and NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU, supporting large-model inference for operation, interaction, and quality inspection. The system is sealed to IP68, allowing reliable operation in demanding indoor environments.
