Intro
ClicBot is an extremely adaptable modular robot that lets users assemble robot configurations using magnetic building blocks, enabling form factors such as humanoid, quadruped, wheeled bases, and more. Each module (called a “Clic”) includes motors, sensors, and connection points that snap together without tools. This modularity encourages exploration of mechanical design, sensor integration, and motion logic, making it ideal for educators, hobbyists, and families exploring robotics fundamentals.
On the software side, ClicBot comes with a robust ecosystem that includes a graphical drag-and-drop coding environment as well as support for advanced programming languages like Python (for advanced users). Supported sensors and actuators allow it to perform tasks like object detection, gesture response, movement sequences, and audiovisual interaction. ClicBot also has built-in personality and expression modules that engage with users through lights, sounds, and movement patterns — augmenting its role as both a learning tool and an interactive companion.
