The main structure of the humanoid is made by aluminum alloy, while the exterior is made with PC+ABS grade plastic
Xiaomai is also equipped with proprietary, advanced dexterous hands—the MagicHand S01. This hand features a total of 11 degrees of freedom, with 6 active joints, allowing for highly precise and nuanced movements. The hands are equipped with tactile sensors that have a resolution of 0.1N, enabling them to handle objects of varying hardness with great precision. The single-finger modular and linkage drive design reduces the load while improving the speed and dexterity of the hand. With a rated lifting capacity of 5 kg and a maximum capacity of 20 kg, the MagicHand S01 is a versatile tool for real-world applications. Its individual fingers can exert a maximum grip force of 2.5 kg, and they can open or close in as little as 1.2 seconds, making the hand capable of mimicking 70% of human gestures.
