Intro
Panther is a wheeled, dual-arm embodied AI humanoid robot engineered to tackle real-world service and operational tasks that require both mobility and manipulation finesse. At its core, Panther combines a four-wheel omnidirectional drive chassis, capable of lateral movement, in-place rotation, and fine positional adjustment in narrow or cluttered environments, alongside with two 8-DoF bionic arms equipped with adaptive intelligent grippers designed for diverse grasping and manipulation tasks. The robot’s design language follows that of UniX AI’s Wanda family but with enhanced performance parameters and broader applicability to commercial spaces such as retail aisles, kitchens, and service corridors.
Panther’s 34 high-DoF joint architecture delivers flexible motion and coordinated action precision across its upper body, enabling capabilities such as liquid pouring with predictive modeling, object sorting, fine gesture manipulation, and multi-step task execution. Its vertical torso lift range (~80 cm) extends its reach from floor-level tasks to elevated surfaces without repositioning the base, simplifying operations in shelving, counter, or interaction-height tasks. The 48 V power system and high-density battery support sustained activity and stable torque delivery in dynamic execution sequences. UniX AI’s software stack, incorporating imitation learning, visuotactile fusion, and long-horizon planning, allows Panther to generalize tasks with minimal training data, enabling rapid adaptation to new or previously unseen operation scenarios.
