Star-1 stands 171 cm tall and weighs 63 kg, featuring 55 degrees of freedom distributed as follows: 12 DOF in legs, 3 DOF in waist, 2 DOF in neck, 14 DOF in arms, and 24 DOF in hands. The legs and waist provide agility and balance, while the neck enables natural head movements. Its hands, equipped with 12 active DOF and full direct drive, allow for complex and precise manipulation. The robot’s joints deliver up to 400 Nm torque and peak rotational speeds of 25 rad/s, supporting powerful and swift motions. Star-1 integrates the ERA-42 AI model for high-level task planning, environment perception, and adaptive learning. It is capable of stable locomotion on various terrains and performs tasks ranging from industrial assembly to customer service.
