Intro
VAPOR 55 MX
The VAPOR 55 MX is a next-generation, all-electric VTOL helicopter unmanned aircraft system designed to extend the performance envelope of earlier VAPOR rotorcraft with a sleek low-profile frame and rugged build. Engineered for runway-independent vertical takeoff, sustained hover, and stable rotary wing flight, it supports modular payloads via tool-free rail mounts that expedite the integration of third-party sensors and mission equipment. With an expanded payload bay capable of up to 5.4 kg of usable weight under the 25 kg FAA Group 1 limit, and heavy-lift options up to 10 kg at higher Gross Take Off Weight (at 30.8 kg) for military missions, VAPOR 55 MX offers over 70 minutes of flight endurance while remaining compliant with regulatory weight restrictions. Its architecture enables rapid adaptation for missions from aerial inspection and surveying to defense applications, and it has even demonstrated in-flight deployment of precision payloads such as GPS-guided Shryke munitions for anti-armor engagement.
VAPOR CLE
The VAPOR Compact Long Endurance (CLE) represents a leap forward in Group 2 VTOL UAS design by integrating autonomous capabilities and extended persistence into a smaller, lighter platform. Featuring an NVIDIA ORIN onboard computer with AI/ML software suites such as AV_Halo VISION and WISARD for Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) and mission autonomy, VAPOR CLE can conduct sustained missions without constant operator intervention. With 2 hours of flight time — roughly double that of conventional Group 2 quadcraft, and support for 26 distinct payloads ranging from electro-optical sensors and communications relays to EW and integrated munitions, it’s tailored for cutting-edge defense and multi-domain field operations. Built on Modular Open System Architecture (MOSA), the CLE simplifies third-party equipment integration while ruggedizing the platform for battlefield and industrial environments — all in a compact 16 kgtransportable pack that assembles without tools for rapid deployment.
