Intro

The W1 is a compact tracked autonomous robot designed for practical use in everyday terrain, from indoor floors to outdoor parks and gardens. At 578 mm long, 520 mm wide, and 680 mm tall, W1 weighs about 28 kg with battery, yet it’s engineered to carry payloads up to 20 kg and tow up to 50 kg of cargo thanks to its robust drive system and high-strength build. Its dual caterpillar tracks provide stability and traction across uneven ground, slopes up to 20° and obstacles up to 50 mm in height, enabling navigation where traditional wheeled platforms might struggle.
Under the hood, W1 integrates an 8-core Horizon Sunrise Series CPU for autonomous decision-making, 8 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 4G cellular connectivity. Its perception suite includes RGB and RGBD cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and infrared human detectors, giving the robot comprehensive awareness for navigation, object and person recognition, and follow-me tasks. GPS and Beidou support enable global positioning outdoors, while human-centric sensors power features like face recognition and gesture detection.
A suite of interaction options allows users to control or customize W1 via Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS apps, remote controllers, or voice commands. A non-touch LCD display provides status feedback, and built-in USB ports support OTA updates and external device connections. W1’s 360° mobile monitoring, combined with AI and integration with smart home alerts, enables it to act as an autonomous security patrol unit — proactively detecting threats like smoke or intrusion and responding with alerts.
The platform also doubles as a versatile outdoor companion: autonomously carrying camping gear, following users during adventure activities, providing portable power through USB-C or USB-A ports, and capturing images with its 13 MP camera. Open platform support encourages developers to build custom behaviors and expand W1’s functional repertoire for logistics, monitoring, or interactive applications.
