Intro
Founded in January 2025, Zerith Robotics was co-incubated by Tsinghua University and the Jianghuai Advanced Technology Center. The company brings together top talent from leading Chinese tech firms such as Baidu, ByteDance, iFLYTEK, and Midea, as well as researchers from Tsinghua’s AI & Robotics Lab. Zerith specializes in the rapid development and commercialization of humanoid robots, leveraging proprietary AI-driven design, advanced motion control algorithms, and scene-generalized solutions inspired by autonomous driving. In its first year, Zerith secured tens of millions of yuan in angel funding, entered mass production, and received multi-million-yuan orders. The company’s objective is to deliver over 500 humanoid robots in 2025, targeting commercial, service, education, entertainment, and exhibition sectors
Robots
- Zerith H1: A hotel-grade humanoid robot designed for autonomous housekeeping. The H1 can clean bathrooms, vacuum, mop, organize toiletries, and restock supplies. It features an adjustable-height body, universal wheels, and advanced spatial AI for navigating cluttered hotel environments. The H1 is engineered for commercial reliability, supporting staff by handling repetitive and demanding cleaning tasks.
- Zerith Z1: A bipedal humanoid robot with 27 degrees of freedom and a peak joint torque of 150Nm. The Z1 excels at stable navigation over irregular surfaces and complex terrain, maintaining balance even under significant interference. It is powered by in-house developed EtherCAT communication modules and proprietary AI-driven design for energy efficiency and dynamic performance. The Z1 has demonstrated complex human-like arm movements and is envisioned for applications such as robotic boxing.
- Zerith F1: A dual-arm robot unveiled in mid-September 2024, designed for tasks requiring dexterous manipulation and robust operation in dynamic environments.
Specialism
Humanoid robots for commercial service applications, with a focus on cleaning, hospitality, education, and adaptive task execution in complex environments.
Business Viability
Zerith Robotics has demonstrated strong early-stage viability. The company secured significant angel investment (tens of millions of yuan), entered mass production within its first year, and received multi-million-yuan orders. Its products address clear commercial needs in hospitality and service sectors, and its rapid development cycle and partnerships with leading academic and industrial institutions further strengthen its prospects for sustained growth.
